Effects of vegetation on urban flows [TWT1 results]
The effect of vegetation on urban flows is studied with measurements of the flow past a surface mounted cube with openings, representing a building exposed to an atmospheric boundary layer. PIV data from NTUA WT experiment and LDV from KIT WT experiment are published.

Twin Test 2 is in progress at TU Munich wind tunnel!
Performance and flow field measurements in the wakes of scaled wind turbines will be examined, in order to clarify the wake interactions of a cluster of turbines and to decide on the wind farm control through wind turbines wake manipulation techniques. For this purpose the used model turbines have integrated torque, pitch and yaw control capabilities.

Green Buildings and Air Quality Wind Tunnel Measurements at KIT
Effects of building wall and roof greening on indoor air quality are being studied during the first Twin Test of the TWEET-IE project.
MOREAnnouncing the first TWEET-IE twin test
We put a model building in a wind tunnel at KIT (Karlsruhe, Germany) and by using LDV (Laser Doppler Velocimetry) we measure air velocity at over 100 points around and even inside the building in order to study how natural ventilation works. See the presented video.
